Heart Attack Interception through The EHAC Awareness Program

The essence of the EHAC message is that it is the key to success in dealing with the heart attack problem. It is the hidden secret that comes from listening to patients in heart attack units describing arrest symptoms over a 30 year period of time. It is the equivalent of the rosetta stone in solving the heiroglyphic Egyptian cave drawings.

Heart attack is the number one killer of the adult population in the United States and throughout the World. It has been in first place in the United States since the turn of the century. Each year it kills approximately 600,000 Americans. That is more than all of the Americans killed in past wars. It kills because patients come in too late. People wait until it is an emergency enough to come to the emergency room where in many cases it is too late and death or significant damage to the heart muscle has occurred.

It need not do so. It is vulnerable. It has an Achilles tendon. The secret to solving the heart attack problem is in understanding that more than half of the heart attacks do not occur abruptly but occur over a period of time, sometimes as much as two to three days. When it occurs in this fashion it does not begin with severe chest pain but occurs with symptoms in the chest that are not perceived as pain and occur off and on allowing the individual to intellectualize other reasons for the problem. This is a no, no! It is better to have these symptoms checked out at this stage then to wait and find out that it is the big one and then it is too late.

These stuttering chest symptoms need to be identified early. This is what the EHAC Program is all about. EHAC is an acronym for Early Heart Attack Care and is an alert system set up to tell about the chest discomfort before the chest pain..... The smoke before the fire..... The fire that never takes place..... It's about interrupting the process and allowing you to live.

The Blair Witch Project (or profit as some people have called it) was successful in that it demonstrated the power of the Internet....... the power of an Internet Blitz using subliminal messages of fear resulting in the momentous success of the box office receipts on its opening day.

The EHAC Project is an attempt to use the power of Internet to do good....... to give an altruistic message to prevent needless death in providing an early message of importance in attempting to take the number one killer of the adult population in the United States out of first place by creating an army of care givers deputized into action (good Samaritans) when it counts. The Blair Witch Project can be used as a stepping stone to realizing the potential power of the Internet to fund and deliver a needed worthwhile message with worldwide impact.
