Deputies in the Work Place Can Stop a Dangerous Killer
America's Number One killer - heart attack
- struck down 600,000 Americans
last year. Nearly 60% of heart attacks begin when
the victim is at work.
Yet many deaths can be prevented if co-workers come
to the rescue, by recognizing a heart attack's early
warning signals and convincing
the victim to act promptly. Help in deputizing the people in your work
place as Early Cardiac Care Givers.
Empower them to respond and save lives.

DEPUTY EARLY CARDIAC CARE GIVER'S OATH
I hearby solemnly swear that when a person in my presence is experiencing
the early symptoms of a heart attack, I will make every effort to get this
person to go to the nearest hospital emergency room to get those symptoms
checked out.
